Liverpool’s third choice keeper David Martin has gone on loan with local League One side Tranmere Rovers for a month.
Tranmere’s regular keeper is suspended and in light of their struggling form decided that throwing in their 17 year old reserve keeper was not the best option.
The 23 year old Liverpool player will go straight in to tomorrow’s league game at home against Brighton.
