Bellamy heads in to LFC as Meireles heads out

LFC have completed a busy transfer deadline day.

First off Joe Cole completed a one year loan deal to Lille OSC.  At the other end of the French Ligue 1, Christian Poulsen completed a permanent transfer to Evian.

David Ngog moved to Bolton in a deal worth an estimated £4M.

Before Craig Bellamy returned to the reds on a free transfer. He will wear the number 39 shirt and has signed a 2 year deal.

Philipp Degen’s contract at LFC was terminated earlier today.

Finally, after discussions throughout the day – LFC announced that Raul Meireles had handed in a transfer request.  Chelsea announce the capture of the Portugese player on a 4 year deal.

  1. First Torres then Benayoun and now Meireles! I am concerned that we’re becoming a feeder club for Chelsea that must stop preferbly by us snatching some of their boys!. I wouldn’t mind Drogba in Jan to start things off!

Glad to see the back of Poulson, Cole, Aquilani, Degan and N’gog for either they were past their best or never good enough!.

  2. very very very big mistake in selling Raul, but I fink the guy knew he wudnt be livpool’s playmaker as when he joined, we lost 1 quality player ..

  3. Please tell me it isn’t so….  please tell me that Bellamy isn’t coming back.
This is all a bad dream.
I heard that Robbie Keane was next to return
