If money were no object and we could have employed some better players, I believe this approach would have worked. It’s time to get back to some modern thinking and get a forward thinking manager that can put us on the front foot again.
(though clearly not as poor as this one), this approach generally worked well over the last 6 years. It enabled Liverpool to gain their best runs in the premier league and Europe for some years as well as score some big wins against some of the biggest teams. the 1 – 4 demolition of Utd at Old trafford, the 4 – 0 hammering of Real Madrid, the 2-1 win from behind in the Nou Camp and the home and away wins against Inter all spring to mind as well as big wins in the CL against Arsenal and Chelsea
Liverpool need a manager that above all else is a good tactician. Someone that is good at getting results home and away. Why do we need this? This year has and will remain the most dissappointing in my memory,i am so dissappointed every weekend,i actually fear opening my morning mail it fills me with dread because i know it will be a bad result,roy Hodgson is not the man for us ,we will loose a whole generation of fans itf this continues ,I am fed up ,the pride is draining out of me!!!!!!!!!!!
