The reds won the 2017 edition of the Premier League Asia Trophy in front of thousands of LFC fans in Hong Kong.
Mohamed Salah and Phil Coutinho were on hand to score two goals to overturn an early Leicester strike.
With speculation surrounding Coutinho and FC Barcelona's interest, it was apt that the talented Liverpool forward woulds score the winner in this competition - a trademark twist and shot from the edge of the area.
First half team:
Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino, Origi.
It was an entertaining first half from both sides - with the majority of both sides attack minded players selected to start.
Coutinho and Salah with some intricate movement but unable to make the breakthrough. Somewhat against the run of play Fuchs ran down the wing and sent in a beautiful cross for Isaac Slimani to head in - 12 minutes gone and the reds up against it.
Leicester's lead didn't last long with the reds equalising in the 20th minute. Salah found Coutinho from the middle of the pitch and the Brazilian returned the pass for Salah to head in.
Just before half time, the reds were ahead.
Coutinho with the ball at his feet, changed direction just outside the box before firing in an exquisite right footed shot to beat Kaspar Schmeichel.
2-1 to Liverpool.

Liverpool's only concern in the first half was the forced substitution of James Milner - he was replaced by Alberto Moreno.
The second half was a more stop start affair - although early on Karius was forced to come out and intercept Jamie Vardy who had broken through LFC's defence.
There were plenty of substitutions throughout the half with the likes of Coutinho, Salah, Firmino, Origi and Wijnaldum all making way for much of LFC's younger contingent. Dominic Solanke had time for another cameo role - with Sturridge also looking positive as he continues to enjoy a full pre-season.
At the end of the game the reds were awarded the Premier League Asia Trophy - a trophy that 10 years ago the reds finished runners up in.
Next up for the reds is a trip to Germany. An anniversary game against Hertha Berlin and then the Audi Cup will see Liverpool play 3 games in 5 days.
