Liverpool jumped from 10th to 6th this weekend thanks to a second half penalty from James Milner and some poor results from other top 10 sides. The reds beating Swansea City 1-0 at home.
Liverpool dominated most of the first half but clear chances were at a premium and Swansea did get more involved as the half wore on.
At half time there were some concerns.
Liverpool very bright first 20-25. Great movement. But belief visibly drained out of players when goal didn’t come.

Up to now Liverpool v Swansea is one of those games that reduces the crowd to near silence & all you can hear is random shouts from players.

Liverpool were awarded a penalty in the 62nd minute, after Neil Taylor handballed a Jordon Ibe cross. Milner fired in.

But after successful outings from Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge Liverpool eventually held on to the result and got their 6th win in 10 games of the new manager's reign.
A home win, every team above us bar City dropping points, Henderson back, Sturridge now three days without injury. Ahhh #LFC

Some people disillusioned with a 3 and 4 nil win before the game, I said to a mate I'd be happy with a scrappy 1-0 win no easy games #LFC

We're 6 points off top of the league. Klopp hasn't bought a player yet. Players coming back from injury. Lots to be positive about! #LFC
