LFC striker has no plans to leave this summer

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is wedded into the idea of the 'Liverpool project' and will be at Anfield next season, according to his agent.

Marco de Marchi, the players agent, yesterday insisted that Fabio will be keen to get over a disappointing and injury-plagued season by starting fresh next term.

The 22 year old arrived from Roma last summer - and there have been recent rumours suggesting a return to Italy - with Fiorentina a likely destination.

de Marchi said:

‘I’ve heard the Fiorentina rumours, but there has been no direct contact.

‘Fiorentina are a club on the launch pad, they have laid the groundwork for an important project by signing great players and results will soon arrive.

‘However, Borini has married the Liverpool project and they are one of the most important clubs in the world.’

What do you think? Does Borini have enough promise or should Liverpool sell the player on?

  1. I just can’t see Borini turning into a great Liverpool player. Having said that – he deserves another season if only because of all the injuries.

Look at Henderson and Lucas for players who didn’t look good enough on first glance.

    Forza Fabio!
