Hull City left back Andrew Robertson is expected to become the third of Liverpool's summer signings.
On a day in which the Anfield exit appeared open for Lucas Leiva to join Lazio in a £5M deal, the reds will look to bring in the Scottish 23 year old from Hull.
Robertson already has 57 Premier League appearances to his name, in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons.
He began his career at Scottish side Queen's Park before moving to Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League.
According to The Guardian weeks of negotiations between Liverpool and Hull have now completed, and the player could be announced this weekend. The reds travel to Hong Kong in the next stage of their pre-season.
The deal could speed up a departure of Alberto Moreno who has struggled to make any impact under Jurgen Klopp.
