Ayala signs extended deal

by Anfield Online | Thursday 12th November 2009

Liverpool’s Spanish centre-back, who turned 19 at the weekend, has been rewarded with a 3 year contract extension at Liverpool.

Daniel Ayala has impressed for the reserves and more recently been called up to Liverpool’s first XI where he has put in a couple of assured displays in 3 senior appearances this season.

Liverpool picked up the player just over 2 years from Sevilla, and he has established himself as one of the gems of the youth and now reserve set-up at Anfield.

The new deal will expire in June 2012.
