5 of LFC’s opening 7 games moved for TV coverage

The UK broadcasters have sunk their teeth in to the fixture list released last month and selected their games for broadcast in the first two months of the season.

All four of LFC's opening away games will be televised, as well as one of the three home fixtures.

The reds opening League game away at Watford will kick off at 12:30pm but it won't be the first official Premier League game of the season.  This season that will take place on a Friday night, when Arsenal welcome Leicester City.

Liverpool's opening game kicking off early gives the club a little extra time to prepare for the first leg of the Champions League qualifier which will be held in the midweek after.

The Arsenal home game has been put back to 4pm on Sunday 27th August, with the trip to Man City now kicking off at 12:30pm on the 9th September.

The reds trip to Leicester on the September 23rd now kicks off at 5:30pm and the trip to Rafa Benitez's Newcastle is put back a day - it will now kick off on Sunday 1st October at 4:30pm.

The Leicester game (as well as the Champions League games) will be covered by BT with the rest featuring on Sky in the UK.

The home games against Crystal Palace and Burnley remain at 3pm.
