The Premier League have this morning announced the fixture list for the 2017-18 season.
Liverpool will open the season away at Watford on the weekend of Saturday 12th August.
With the reds in Champions League qualifying action the following midweek it is likely the reds fixture will remain either on the Saturday or Sunday.
TV companies have yet to choose their opening games but will do so shortly.
Liverpool's first home game is a week later when they welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield. Palace were one of just two Premier League teams to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the league last year.
The reds then face a double header of top six clashes - with Arsenal arriving at Anfield before the reds travel to the Etihad to take on Man City.
