Liverpool suffer Coutinho injury blow ahead of Huddersfield league clash

Liverpool will have to do without Philippe Coutinho for Huddersfield's visit tomorrow in the Anfield Premier League clash.

The reds will miss the Brazilian after he sustained a strain to his abductor muscle during training, and it could affect his involvement in the midweek Champions League tie against Maribor.

Sadio Mane could be a month away from a return and although Adam Lallana is closer to recovery he won't be pushing for a place this weekend.

With Klopp already facing tough selection issues he now has an extra headache on his hands - although both Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sturridge could now pique the managers interest for a starting place.

After missing the first 6 competitive games of LFC's season in the wake of his 'back injury'/Barcelona interest, Coutinho has featured for the reds in each of their last 9 games.

Liverpool actually won 4 of the 6 games without him but since Coutinho's return have won just 2 of the 9 that he has played in.
