UPDATE 13th June 2019: Due to the Premier League fixtures and LFC playing Norwich City on the opening Friday - the Anfield game v Schalke has now been cancelled.
Liverpool have lined up their pre-season friendlies for the summer with the addition of 5 further games on top of their tour to the United States.
With the squad expected to being arriving from the start of July, the reds will kick off their summer planning with a trip to Tranmere Rovers on the 11th July, followed by a trip over to Yorkshire where they will face Bradford City on the 14th.
The game at Bradford forms part of a charity game for former player Stephen Darby's foundation. The former academy graduate who did make 6 first team appearances retired from football after receiving his diagnosis of motor neurone disease last year.
Stephen has said:
"They are two amazing clubs who both played a massive part in my career and both will always have a special place in my heart. I can't thank both clubs and sets of fans enough for their support."
Liverpool will then head over to the United States for their three games against Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon before they head back to Liverpool with two weeks remaining before the start of the season.
On the 28th July, Liverpool will face Napoli at Murrayfield in Edinburgh, the first time the reds have played at that stadium more well known for its rugby.
On the final day of the month the club will head to the Stade de Geneve in Switzerland to take on French side Lyon.
The reds will face Man City in the Community Shield on the weekend of the 4th August, but before the Premier League kicks off the following weekend the reds will return to Anfield where Klopp will take on a familiar face.
Jurgen Klopp's mate (and former Huddersfield boss) David Wagner recently took over at the Bundesliga side Schalke, and the two will meet on the evening of Tuesday 6th August 2019.
